Hi Tracey I love the pale colour thing too but I do think there is a place for the contrasting brights - it does give it a slight oriental feel, more urban xx
I actually like the bright colors in these photos a lot! I'm surprised that I do, but happy about it, too. :) More options for decor that way! :) I especially like the third photo. The white "background" really makes the colors pop and I think it looks great. Thanks for finding these!
Not sure about the high contrast. What I like about Shabby Chic is the layering of pale colours.
