  5. Not entirely sure but it could have been made by that female designer who was big two years ago and writing about how to do up old furniture in The Guardian. I wrote this post in 2010 so it's difficult to remember x

  6. Love old distressed furniture. It is romantic and comfortable to live with. It's also practical from the standpoint that for myself (I'm a mom of 3 kids, 5 pets) I'm an artist (work from home) things get banged up and chippy around here fast. The old patinas and worn down elegant furnishings work and so there's a new scratch - oh well more distressing :)
